Globe An idea to benefit all

The idea of BeGlobe was born with the motivation to use modern technology in such a way that all involved benefit. At the same time, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations became the focus of the founders. A few inspiring conversations later, the idea of approaching nutrition and sustainability on a number of levels – in the true sense of the word – came to the fore.

The mission, the goal, of BeGlobe is to allow as many people as possible, the environment and cities alike to benefit from a promising combination of modern technologies. BeGlobeFarms are a realistic opportunity to address the global challenges of food and water scarcity as well as the waste of resources.

Challenge: Food shortage

It is becoming increasingly difficult to provide enough food to the growing world population in traditional ways. BeGlobeFarms will enable the production of plants and fish anywhere in the world. The methods of vertical farming and aquaponics allow more frequent crops per year, the cultivation of very different plants and the breeding of different fish, which will contribute to a healthy diet. BeGlobe Farms – even under unfavorable conditions – can contribute to the sustainable supply of future generations and to the development goal “Zero Hunger”.

Challenge: Sustainability

With the cultivation methods of vertical farming and aquaponics, BeGlobeFarms pursue the goal of producing food in a demand-oriented manner, thus making consumption more sustainable. By applying the latest technologies in the production process, the responsible use of resources can be ensured. The sun supplies the energy and partly also the light that is needed in the BeGlobeFarms. A special water cycle and water treatment ensure that only little water is needed and even less wasted.

Challenge: Resource wastage

BeGlobeFarms are located where they are needed. Thanks to a flexible system, the size and location of the BeGlobeFarms can be individually determined. This will make it easier and more sustainable to supply cities with fresh food. The distance to the consumer is reduced and spoiled food due to long transport routes are a thing of the past.

BeGlobe and the Global Goals – united for our planet

BeGlobeFarms have been particularly overlapping with four of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-Being, Responsible Consumption and Production, and Life on Land, partly with many more of the 17 Goals and the concept of BeGlobeFarms contributes overall to the lived sustainability in the world.
